We’re excited to have you join us for the ELEVATE B. E. S. T Event (Black Entrepreneur’s Success Training), taking place on Saturday, November 11th in Tacoma, WA. 9:00am to 3:00pm. Please arrive PROMPTLY at 8:30am, when the doors open, to be able to enjoy the Continental Breakfast and also get first dibs on one of the business Speed-Matching sessions.

We are expecting a FULL HOUSE and a Day of Empowerment, Inspiration and Elevation.

The email contains all of the important details you need to know in order to MAXIMIZE your experience and ensure a smooth event.

  1. Location: Nate Jackson’s Superfunny Comedy Club in Tacoma, WA. Address: 8402 S. Hosmer, Tacoma WA 98444, in the Annex Building adjacent to the Holiday Inn
  2. Please arrive for check-in promptly at 8:30am. Continental Breakfast available at 8:30am as well as first dibs on sign-ups for the Speed-Matching Segment. See below.
  3. If you are a VIP you can pick up your two VIP Bonus Gifts at the VIP Check-in Table. You will be directed to the VIP Preferred seating.
  4. In addition to Continental Breakfast, a boxed. Lunch will also be provided. The Superfunny Comedy Club has a full bar, which includes non-alcoholic drinks: bottled water, soft drinks, and assorted flavored lemonades. Beverages are self-pay at the event.  Thank you in advance for patronizing the bar.
  5. Parking is being provided for FREE. Be sure you park in the designated Comedy Club portion of the parking lot, on the far West side of the Lot, and NOT in the Holiday Inn’s area of the parking lot.
  6. Attire: Business Professional and Business Chic
  7. Please bring your CALENDAR so that you can schedule your future meeting appointments from your Speed-Matching sessions. See below.

  9. As part of the Event, there will be a Speed-Matching segment. We have curated a selective line-up of Black service providers whose expertise is capacity-building services to support your business growth. These include social media, legal, videography, photography, virtual assistants, bookkeeping, accounting, graphic design, and MORE!
  10. Each Speed-Matching vendor will have a Speed-Matching schedule at their table. Arrive at 8:30am and get first dibs on a Speed-Matching slot. You will have 7 minutes per speed-matching conversation (select one).  In the Speed-Matching conversation, you want to mutually determine if you a potential business fit, and then proceed to setting a future date and time for a more comprehensive meeting that should take place within 2 weeks of the Event.
